Anna Morris

Anna Morris was born in Zimbabwe where she trained in ballet and modern dance.In 1994 she began an apprenticeship with the internationally acclaimed TumbukaDance Company and later went on to perform for the company and teach on theirdance foundation course. She staged several collaborative projects in Zimbabweand South Africa with Dance People and the Stillwater Collaboration beforecreating a series of solo performances.  

She has recently completed a degree in physical theatre at Rhodes University in South Africa. While at Rhodes she taught and performed for The First Physical Theater Company. She also taught for the Grahamstown Township Dance Project which provides free dance classes for underpriviledged children.
