Artists' Biographies

Erin Healan (Co-founder, Associate Artistic Director, Co-Producer, Choreographer, Dancer) received her MA in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans and a BFA in Dance from Tulane University. Erin has performed professionally with the 58 Group, Tyego Dance Project, Estradanza, and the Chicago Opera Theater in Chicago, Illinois. Locally she has danced with Ballet Hysell, New Orleans Ballet Ensemble, Newcomb Dance Company, N.O. Trespassing, and Happensdance. Her choreography has been featured in Tsunami’s concerts Fast Forward and GO, as well as Confederacy of Dances 6 and Dramarama 11. Erin has taught classical ballet at the New Orleans Dance Academy and modern dance at the Garden District Ballet, and has performed Guest Artist Residencies with the University of Tennessee-Martin. She is currently an adjunct ballet instructor at Tulane University.
