Gary Fernandez

Gary Ray Fernandez is originally from Alexandria, Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Cellular and Molecular Biology from Tulane University. While there, he performed with the Newcomb Dance Company in works by Beverly Trask, Barbara Hayley, and Alice Pascal Escher. With the Newcomb Dance Company and Pearson+Widrig Dance Theater, Gary was fortunate to perform "Katrina, Katrina: Loveletters to New Orleans" for the Kennedy Center 22nd Annual Open House Arts Festival, a touring exhibition of Gulf Coast artists culminating at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Currently, Gary is attending LSU-HSC New Orleans School of Medicine.
